Crooks! I wasn't told up front that there would be a charge for diagnostics. It was only after I left my car there that they told me it was $179 for them just to look at what was wrong with the car. Two days later I get a call saying the estimate for the repair is $1142.34. Oh and my $179 does not go towards the repair cost! This is a bad air bag module in a 2011 Jetta. When you Google the cost of this repair it should be around $600-$700. I would not recommend anyone go to this shop for service. Now I am out $200 and have not had the car for several days. Just a horrible experience overall. My first call to another repair shop, the person told me that they would do a free diagnostic and if it is indeed a bad sensor the repair would be around $600-$700 (Exactly what all of the reviews on Google said it would be). The whole reason I took my car in is because I knew it would not pass inspection with this issue. I asked that they do an inspection after the repair. I never approved the repair and they did the inspection anyways and charged me $20 more for that. I said I would not pay that and they said if I didn't I would not get my car (Over $20 they were going to keep my car). I told Ramel that they are crooks and he can go F*** himself and he had the nerve to say the exact same thing back to me after all the wrong they have done. Way to take advantage of a customer! Also, way to act professional in telling your customer that they can go f*** themselves. I tried to get the owner to speak with me personally and he refused. He called me entitled and rude. Does not take responsibility for any actions on their part. Charged me $20 for a service that was not approved and the fact that his employee cussed at me as well. I am not "entitled" as he states. I want to work with a fair and reliable company. Update: The response from the owner is a total joke. He says "we weren't a good fit" but he was happy to take my money. He hides behind texting and review responses instead of actually speaking with the customer to try and work things out. Their staff did not have to endure anything from me. I was taken advantage of and treated horribly. They are rude and unhelpful and told me they were going to keep my car if I did not pay them for a service that I did not authorize. I found an excellent shop and had the repair done for less than 1/2 of what European Autowerks was trying to charge me. And they didn't charge for diagnostics unlike European Autowerks who robbed me of $200. I really hope they go out of business because we as a society should not continue to support crooks!

Hi, Brandi. After talking to the team, it seems that there is more to the story. We don't need to rehash things, but we were clearly not a good fit for one another and the way that you treated members of the team here was not acceptable to endure. We hope that you are able to find someone else that better suits your needs.

Last week the "Check Engine" light came on in my wife's 2015 Mercedes ML350. I checked with all but two of our local repair shops to see if they could check the code and see what was the matter. None of them could. I bought the car from Va Beach Mercedes and I checked with them. They could not look at it until July 20th, but they told me to check with European Car Werks between Newtown Rd. and Witchduck Rd.on Va Beach Blvd. I called them and they made an appointment for me this morning. I made the appointment and within an hour and a half they had pulled the code and made a determination of the problem. To me the hero of all this is Ramele Felton, the Service Advisor. Thank you Ramele, for the excellent reception and service my wife and I received this morning. This is a fine, clean and organized place of business that specializes in GOOD SERVICE.
