Last week the "Check Engine" light came on in my wife's 2015 Mercedes ML350. I checked with all but two of our local repair shops to see if they could check the code and see what was the matter. None of them could. I bought the car from Va Beach Mercedes and I checked with them. They could not look at it until July 20th, but they told me to check with European Car Werks between Newtown Rd. and Witchduck Rd.on Va Beach Blvd. I called them and they made an appointment for me this morning. I made the appointment and within an hour and a half they had pulled the code and made a determination of the problem. To me the hero of all this is Ramele Felton, the Service Advisor. Thank you Ramele, for the excellent reception and service my wife and I received this morning. This is a fine, clean and organized place of business that specializes in GOOD SERVICE.

I'm going to start off by saying that I will be bringing my VW here for work/maintenance from now on! The gentleman at the front desk is very professional and assists you through the process of check in and is extremely honest on what to expect when it comes to possible time frames that they may be able to work on your car. You first notice the sleek, modern design of the interior once you step in to the business. The only thing they are missing is some deep, melodic house music playing in the background. You check in your vehicle on a tablet. You are able to choose the make/model of your vehicle and can elaborate on what is the issue with your vehicle. The bathroom is very clean. There is a wait area with seating that also offers a variety of keurig coffees and teas. There is also a small refrigerator with water. Luckily, they were able to work on my car quicker than expected. I received a text from the business with a link. I tapped on the link and was taken to a personalized report with what they found wrong on my car and what they recommend servicing. They also provide pictures and videos! After viewing the report and pics/vids, I called the business and gave them to green light to fix my immediate problem. Honesty, complete transparency, and quality mechanical work is what makes this place stand out from the rest.

I could not be more satisfied with how well the staff handled my first time bringing my 2008 Audi A6 here. The experience was very pleasant, as if you can ever say that about a mechanic shop. Remel was great, answered all my questions with patience, details and reassured me with a plan to get the necessary things fixed on my car using a Red, Yellow, Green light system to explain the severity of needed repairs. I will definitely be returning and will refer others to this great Euro Car Mechanic Shop. And the office is stylish.

Receptionist told this whole story about how the part i was needing (passenger airbag module) was very hard to find and they located only ONE PART LEFT available in New York.. telling me if i choose to buy said part then it would cause a NATIONWIDE SHORTAGE. I mean really, when i can google the specific part and see just how cheap it is to buy the part myself? Absurd. Not only did i decline their $1200 service, I had to drop $380 just for them to do a "tier 2 diagnostic test" with no work done what so ever. Only reason im leaving 2 stars is because they were friendly.

Shop is expensive! Diagnostics start at $170+ for basic OBD check engine light tool (advanced auto parts does this for free in 5 minutes in the parking lot) then escalated quickly into several hundreds ($378 for my stage 2 testing) for further diagnostics. Most private shops in the area charge one labor hour or a set ~$100 fee for all diagnostics till they know the issue (exception for major/complicated diagnosis) Labor rates are $140 per hour (June 2022) while the local Audi/VW dealer is charging $150. Local private shops in the area are $80-100 per hour. Finally, they upcharge parts and shop fees to make a little extra on ordered parts too. This is the first shop I have been to in 15 years that has this as standard practice. After being quoted at 3 separate shops including them, they came in at $4200, the dealer was $4000, and another private Audi/VW specialist in the area is completing the job with the same parts and warranty for under $3000. Would not recommend unless you don’t care about burning money for convenience.

Hi, Anthony. We are sorry you feel you did not have a great experience in our shop. We love our customers and always try to serve them best. Auto repair can be frustrating and expensive, which is why we are priced competitively when compared to other specialty auto shops. We are sorry it did not work our for us to be able to serve you. We wish you nothing but the very best in your auto repair journey!
