Communication was good, and they utilize a system that provides text message links which include pictures and even videos of observations from their inspection. That was very helpful and transparent. On the cost side, I suggest shopping out any larger repairs. I was quoted $270 more by European Autowerks than another local Euro focused shop, and expect the dealer to be comparable in price.

Took my wife’s 2008 Passat in for testing on the cooling system because it was leaking. Customer service was excellent. They were very forthcoming about what repairs would be necessary and which ones could be held off for a while. The diagnostic service was completely thorough. Now, my wife and I have to make a decision whether we want to spend the money to fix a car that isn’t worth very much.
